Wall Decoration - Drago Milenario de Icod (Dragon Tree)

Our town's landmark, on your wall

Some trees you recognise the moment you see them. The Drago Milenario of Icod de los Vinos is one: a thick, braided trunk and that wide crown spreading open like an umbrella. This piece is its silhouette, cut out in matte black, with the foliage left open so light slips through the leaves. Carved into the base, the word ICOD tells you exactly where it comes from.

Our own drawing, not a stock template

We didn't pull this off the internet. The silhouette began as a hand drawing in our workshop, made to catch the real shape of the tree we live next to. That's why the crown, the twisted trunk and the roots feel like the real drago and not a generic one. It's the kind of detail that only happens when the person drawing it lives right beside the tree.

Made in Icod, next to the real dragon tree

Our workshop sits in Icod de los Vinos, a few steps from the Drago Milenario itself. We design it here and we print it here, in matte black PLA. The colour isn't painted on: it's the material itself, so the finish stays even and holds up well. A genuine keepsake of Tenerife, or a gift for anyone who carries Icod with them.

Light and easy to hang

PLA is a plant-based bioplastic, light and sturdy. Because the piece is flat and lightweight, you can hang it without drilling: double-sided tape or adhesive putty pressed on at several points both work. If you'd rather use a nail, that one does need drilling. You choose how, and let us know in the order notes.

Care
Indoor piece. PLA softens in heat, so keep it away from direct heat sources. Clean it with a soft cloth, or with lukewarm water and a little soap. The fine print lines are part of the piece's texture.
