3D Printing in Tenerife: How It Works and What You Can Order
More and more people on the island want a one-off piece: a figure of their pet, a spare part that is no longer made, a gift with a name on it or a distinctive decorative touch. 3D printing makes all of that possible, and at Info-Arte we have it right here in Tenerife. In this guide we explain what it is, how we work step by step, and the kind of orders you can bring to us.
What is 3D printing?
3D printing is a way of making objects layer by layer from a digital design. Instead of cutting or moulding a material, the printer builds it up little by little until the whole piece is formed. That means you can create shapes that would be very hard or impossible with other methods, and make them one at a time, with no need for big production runs.
For you it comes down to something simple: if it can be designed, it can probably be printed. From something small and delicate to sizeable decorative pieces.
How we work at Info-Arte, step by step
Every custom order follows a similar path:
You tell us your idea. It could be a photo, a sketch, a drawing or simply a description of what you have in mind.
We design it in 3D. We prepare the digital model and fine-tune the size, details and proportions with you before printing.
We print it in full colour. We choose the most suitable finish for the piece and bring out the best possible detail.
Final check and delivery. We make sure everything is right, then hand it over or ship it to you.
We guide you through the whole process, so you do not need to know anything about design or printing. That part is on us.
What can you order?
This is just a taste of what comes off our printers:
Custom figures and objects: personalised 3D printing for pets, logos, mini-figures and made-to-measure projects.
Relief wall art: our one-of-a-kind wall pieces, with silhouettes, dragos and designs that play with light.
Canarian keepsakes and characterful figures: menceys (Guanche kings), the Teide or the island map, within decor.
Toys that move: flexi articulated toys, dinosaurs and anti-stress fidgets.
Lightweight accessories: 3D-printed jewellery such as the Barraquito earrings.
Smart solutions: products with NFC and QR for reviews, social media or pet identification.
And if you cannot see it in the shop, tell us anyway: a good part of what we make are bespoke orders that start exactly like that, with an idea.
Colours, sizes and materials
We print in full colour and in a wide range of sizes, from a keyring that fits in your hand to decorative pieces for the wall or the shelf. Depending on how the piece will be used (decorative, functional, for play, for outdoors) we choose the finish with you that holds up best and looks best. If you are unsure which option suits you, we are happy to advise.
How long does it take and how much does it cost?
It depends on the piece. A simple design is sorted quickly; a fully custom order that has to be designed from scratch takes a little longer. The same goes for the price: a small touch is not the same as a large, complex piece.
That is why the best thing is to tell us what you have in mind and we will prepare a no-obligation quote, with the estimated timing included. That way you know where you stand before you decide.
Made in Tenerife, shipped across Spain
We are in Icod de los Vinos, in the north of Tenerife. You can drop by, write to us or order from wherever you are: we ship all over Spain. Working with a local workshop has its upside, because we talk with you one to one and adjust the details until the piece looks just as you imagined it.
Got an idea on your mind? Tell us about it and we will make it real.
